CalcYourFinance ("we", "us") operates calcyourfinance.com. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. In short: our calculators run entirely in your browser, and we do not collect or store the numbers you type into them.

Calculator inputs

Every calculation on this site happens locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The amounts, prices and other values you enter are not sent to our servers and are not stored or logged by us.

Some calculators keep a short list of your recent calculations so you can return to one. That list is written to your own browser's local storage, on your device only — it is never uploaded to us and we cannot read it. You can remove it with the "Clear" control on the calculator, or by clearing site data in your browser. Values you enter anywhere else are discarded when you close or reload the page.

Reporting a rate

If you send us a correction using the form on our data accuracy page, we receive what you type: the calculator name, your description of the problem, an optional link to the official source, and your email address if you choose to provide one. We store that report in our issue tracker so we can verify it and act on it, and we use an email address only to reply to you about that report. Please don't include confidential information — a rate correction never needs it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage — for example which calculators are popular and which countries visitors come from. It sets cookies or similar identifiers and collects data such as your approximate location, device type, browser and the pages you view. It does not receive the values you enter into calculators. Google's use of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.

Advertising

We may display advertising from third-party networks (such as Google AdSense) to support the free tools. Ad partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads. You can control ad personalisation through your browser settings and through the ad provider's own settings. When advertising is enabled, this section will reflect the specific partners in use.

Cookies

Our own use is limited to your browser's local storage, which stays on your device: your light or dark theme preference, and the recent-calculations list described above. Analytics and, if enabled, advertising partners may set their own cookies as described above. You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser at any time.

Your choices

Because we don't collect personal accounts or store your inputs, there is no profile to delete. You can disable cookies, use your browser's "do not track" and ad-personalisation controls, or contact us with any privacy question.

Children

This site is intended for a general, adult audience and is not directed at children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
